ACTIVITIES
Rentals
Rentals are ONLY Half Day (4 hrs) or Full Day (8 hrs), regardless if you want it/use it for less time.
Rentals must be pre-booked with the office during opening hours only from 3-8pm. Book in advance to avoid disappointment!
*Rentals must be returned by 8pm or before dark, whichever is first.
*Lifejackets size infant-XL and boater safety kit included.
*Prices do not include applicable 5% GST. Waivers must be signed.

Starting in 2024, all Kayaks, Canoe, and SUP’s (Stand up Paddleboards) will be provided free for all guests to use between 8am to 8pm.
All staying guests are expected to put all of our equipment away after use and to treat it with respect, so we can continue to offer this for everyone!
We hold no liability for you while using free-use equipment.

The Barge is a floating patio, complete with seating, BBQ /propane, swim ladder, and endless fun! Cruise the lake, fish in comfort, bring the family for a picnic or sunset dinner cruise and enjoy swimming in the middle of the lake!
Max limit is 8 adults.
Barge includes motor and battery.
The Barge can not and will not be sent out in windy or unfavorable conditions.

Bringing Your Own Boat
Personal boats on trailers must be launched at the public boat launches, a minute from the resort. Full sized vehicles are prohibited on our waterfront.
Don’t have your boat on a trailer? Don’t worry, we can help! Please ask staff when you check in if you need assistance. Some days we may not have anyone to help physically lift with you, but transport on our quad trailer to/from the lake is available everyday.
We offer this service for free, so tips are always appreciated, and we will only be able to help when we have time, so please be patient.
Moorage
Moorage for guests is free when you are staying with us. First come-first serve on the docks- so you may have to pull it on to the side of the beach if no spots are left. Please ask staff is you are unsure of where to moor.
Rentals are subject to availability and may be booked on arrival.

Pinantan Lake contains wild rainbow trout and stocked blackwater trout. The fish bite all year and have a good fight. Average size is 1 lb but there are bigger ones to find!
Bring your own boat and experience amazing fly fishing in our serene electric-motor only waters. Fishing from the dock is also permitted, where more fish are caught right out front of the resort than anywhere else on the lake.

Bring your own games or borrow ours! We have plenty of green space and open fields for playing bocce, croquet, volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole and more!

Electric motor-only waters make paddling Pinantan lake calm and peaceful for all levels and ages!
Bring your own Kayak, Canoe, Paddleboard, or tube to just float around and soak up the beauty that is Pinantan OR rent one of ours.

The Pinantan area is abundant in all types of wildlife including many birds, bears, cougars, moose, and deer; you never know what you’ll see each day!
Bird watchers will enjoy the array of species that make our resort home and catch fish from the lake right in front of us!
You don’t have to leave the resort to experience the beauty of our area, but there are lots of places for hiking and walking nearby.

There are plenty of great trails a short distance from the resort.
Harper Mountain has excellent mountain biking trails only a 12 minute drive away.
Summer activities

Ice fishing takes place on the lake daily during the Winter months usually from end of November to mid-April.
Make sure to bring your own equipment!
Not into fishing? No problem, enjoy ice-skating or snowshoeing around Pinantan Lake’s stunning shoreline.

There are plenty of snowmobiling areas and trails nearby.
Snowshoe around the frozen lake, our property or nearby crown land.
Harper Mountain is 12 minutes away and Sun Peaks Resort is 1 hour away, where you can enjoy classic BC cross-country/downhill skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, or tubing!

Rest and rejuvenation is easy with our quiet winter atmosphere where you can cozy up with a good book or board game with the family in front of our Lakefront Cabin’s electric fireplaces. (Please note: The original wood stoves have been removed due to safety issues)

A quick jaunt from your lakefront cabin, we have a cedar barrel-shaped sauna that seats up to 6 people, with a large window that faces the lake!
The sauna is set to 80 degrees Celsius, but can be adjusted to your preference.
